Edinburgh International Film Festival is fast approaching, its on from 18th – 23rd August. As part of the programme they’re hosting what looks like an incredible cinema under the stars.
A weekend of dreamy and eclectic outdoor screenings in the scenic surrounds of the old college quad at Edinburgh University. There are a couple of family favourites in the billing – All screenings are ticketed and Pay What You Can.
Puss In Boots The Last Wish – Sat 19th August – Legendary leche-loving outlaw Puss in Boots is in trouble: he has lost eight of his nine lives. Terrified, our hero embarks on a swashbuckling quest to try restoring his feline privileges, an adventure that sees him reunite with friends and foes as he undergoes a humbling journey of self-discovery.
The Lego Movie – Sun 20th August.. Emmet is a disgruntled construction worker who becomes an unlikely hero in the fight against the greedy President Business (voiced by Will Ferrell), who threatens to put a stop to creativity by gluing everything in the LEGO® world to match his tyrannic dreams of perfection.
