Guilded Balloon, Wee Room

This one person show is intimate, imaginative and delightfully interactive. You’re in for a treat of mime, physical comedy and clowning which is well pitched for 3 years and above. 

There is a central thread of artistry with the Artiste delivering up drawings and paintings using different mediums and inspirations. It gets messy, emotional and very funny. Ultimately a masterpiece (to rival the Mona Lisa?) is created in record time in the last few minutes. My daughter was the randomly chosen muse for this picture which she was baffled by, but ultimately pleased!

The sketches are clever and funny. We particularly liked it when we were invited to scribble on a pad and the Artiste then transformed our rubbish doodle into something recognisable. Ours became a beautiful fish. 

The frequent audience participation keeps adults and kids alike on their toes. I really enjoyed taking my 3 year old daughter to something entirely mimed. Artiste stands out as wonderfully different.
