Ten Thousand Hours

Ten Thousand Hours

Assembly Main Hall

Gravity and other myths once again astound us with their exceptional talents, -demonstrating the time dedicated to achieve these incredible skills…

Eight performers whisk us through an hour of fluid physicality and acrobatics – stacking themselves up on top of each other, leaping onto each others shoulders and literally swinging each other across the stage. The trust between the performers is immense, and what’s also obvious is their enjoyment in what they do and the playfulness among them. A large timer at the back of the stage weaves through the narrative, counting down, merging into a scoreboard and ticking away moments of intensity. We particularly enjoyed pieces of humour in the show, engaging the audience and where surprisingly, drawing skills are required. Our mini-reviewer loved a perfectly executed warm up in the style of salsa Simone Biles !..

Making these incredible feats seem effortless, this is an absolutely awesome show, which we encourage everyone to go to, young and old alike…as soon as it finished, our mini-reviewer wanted to watch it all over again !

My mini reviewer said : “It was absolutely jaw dropping – my favourite bit was when the audience got to choose the warm up style..”
