Some top picks for 2021….

So, I’ve finally had a moment to gather myself together and look through the programme for this year’s festival – though it’s being added to all the time so do keep checking for new additions !

My top picks so far include :

The Snail And The WhaleOnline Scheduled

Tall Stories never fail to deliver in their charming adaptations of Julia Donaldson’s well loved books – and this is no exception. We were lucky enough to see this show in Edinburgh in 2016 and LOVED it – read our review here. Join an adventurous young girl and her seafaring father as they reimagine the story of a tiny snail’s incredible trip around the world…

Based on the brilliant book by Pippa Goodhart and Nick Sharratt, Nonsense Room Productions (Shark in the Park and Hairy Maclary Shows) bring you a brand-new interactive musical show for all the family. But in this show – You Choose what happens! Using the picture book as inspiration and through a series of games and challenges, each show will be unique with different characters, locations, costumes and much more every time!

Tom Brace: Eat, Sleep, AMAZE, RepeatIn Person

We were lucky enough to see Tom Brace two years ago, and even got a personal magic show as we were eating lunch too ! He amazed us with his tricks then, and his show was brilliant – highly recommended for everyone !

Featuring magic inspired by classic board games, internet crazes and all the day time television he watched. Get ready to expect the unexpected at an evening for the whole family. 

9th – 14th August

BromanceIn Person

Again, we have been lucky enough to see this show a few years ago and were were amazed by it then, and look forward to seeing it again and how its grown and changed. Prepare to be awestruck ….
