Edinburgh Big Beach Busk 2015 – Saturday 29th August

So, on Saturday 29th August if you are looking for something a little bit different and fancy some time at the seaside it’s the sixth Big Beach Busk on Portobello Prom!

This looks like a lovely event, from 12-6pm there will be a variety of street performers, musicians, dancers, jugglers and well, anything really – any type or kind of performer is welcome…People of all ages are encouraged to head along and entertain the public on the promenade.

Let’s hope they have some sunshine to go with all the great entertainment….

Music and zombies at the museum !!!

The museum is a great place to visit with children – they love running around the galleries and exploring some of the more interactive exhibitions, and there always seems to be some arts and crafts activity going on in the learning centre. During the festival, the museum is hosting some fantastic musicians to come along every day for some free fringe music which sounds lovely and another great reason to visit…2nd – 24th August  2pm-2.40pm.

Zombies in the museumThere is also a rather impressive and exciting event happening at the end of the month for older children/young adults – Zombies in the Museum ! “We have established a base at National Museum of Scotland, from here you will be trained to survive a Zombie attack and locate the source of infection ”
This event is part of a national project where young adults have devised the event itself.
